How Nicolas Idrovo and Cafering Made the Coffee Cart the Most Branded Spot at the Event

Charlotte Tilbury’s team arrived at Aventura Mall with a clear visual brief: every element of the activation had to read as intentionally theirs. The signage. The canopy. The drinks.

That last item fell to Cafering. The Miami specialty coffee company, co-founded by Nicolas Idrovo and Mario Idrovo in 2023, wrapped the cart in Charlotte Tilbury graphics, built the cup program to match the event’s visual identity, and ran every drink through a full-color coffee printer that placed the brand’s logo directly onto the foam. Charlotte Tilbury’s events manager, Insaaf M., wrote in a Google review afterward that the cart looked “absolutely flawless” and called the coffee printer “a huge hit” with attendees.

Cafering provides mobile espresso bar service for brand activations, conferences, trade shows, corporate events, and weddings across South Florida. The company operates out of Miami and serves Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties as its core area, with regular bookings in Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Boca Raton. According to the company, it has served events for organizations including FIFA, Ferrari, Delta, Pernod Ricard, and Mondelez, among others.

The coffee program is built on a specific credential. Mario Idrovo is Ecuador’s National Barista Champion, a title confirmed by World Coffee Events in 2016, and holds a master’s degree in coffee, according to the company. The machines are La Marzocco, the professional standard at high-volume specialty cafes. The coffee comes from Escondido Specialty Coffee, a Miami roaster working a blend of beans from Brazil and El Salvador. The team includes Specialty Coffee Association-certified baristas.

The branding layer sits on top of that base. A full cart wrap places the client’s visual identity on a piece of furniture visible from across the room. Branded cups and sleeves carry it to the guest’s hand. The coffee printer takes it further: each drink leaves the bar with the client’s logo printed on the foam in full color, which tends to be what guests photograph before they drink.

Cafering describes its full-color drink printing capability as one of the few operating in South Florida. The activation requests that have come in reflect what the capability makes possible. Pucci’s two-day run in Miami’s Design District used a spirulina matcha developed in the fashion house’s exact turquoise, according to the company. Garage Clothing ran a custom pink matcha at a Brickell pop-up, with a cart wrapped in matching colors. At a Wynwood product event for NeoCell, the espresso machine itself was color-matched to the brand’s light blue palette. Baristas at that event also helped connect attendees with the brand team before each order was placed, according to Cafering.

At a technology conference at Loews Miami Beach, the company Elphi positioned a Cafering bar inside its trade show booth. The team arrived before the floor opened. When the agreed service time ran out, they stayed until the last guest in line had been served. Co-Founder Daniel Gotesman described the service as “outstanding from start to finish,” according to Cafering’s site. The function is direct enough: an attendee who stops for espresso at an exhibitor’s booth spends a few minutes standing near the company’s team while the drink is made, rather than walking past.

The same logic operates at a larger scale. The company served Exceedance 2026 at the Omni Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, a conference drawing more than 1,000 attendees. A second bar was added on the morning of the event, during setup, and was running before the doors opened. Both bars served continuously through the day. Emily Jewell, program manager for Creative Group Inc., wrote in a Google review that guests loved the coffee and said the bar had a steady line all day. Exceedance has booked the team for 2027.

A single bar covers approximately 75 drinks per hour, according to the company. Multi-cart configurations scale past 750. Each bar requires a 5×5-foot footprint and a standard 120V electrical outlet. Events start at $1,050.

The LBA events organization worked with Cafering across four consecutive events at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. Its Director of Membership and Media, Javiera Munoz, described finding the company through a Google search, receiving a quote within an hour, and booking again each time because the setup did not ask her to choose between the quality of the drinks, the look of the cart, and the reliability of the service.

“With Cafering, you get it all,” Munoz wrote in a Google review.
